Dr Sue Chapman

Sue was born and completed most her study in Melbourne.  She moved to Western Australia 24 years ago. Over the last 20 years she has developed the Urology Service in the South West from service provision by visiting specialists from Perth, to 3 resident Urologists with an accredited Urology Trainee.

She has held positions with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and The Urology Society of Australasia in the areas of examinations, interviews and mentorship.

Sue is currently working as a visiting Medical Officer at WA Country Health Service Bunbury and Busselton and in private practice at SJOG Bunbury. She is an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and part of the Clinical Leadership Committee at WACHS South West.

Sue is passionate about voluntary work and has been involved in the areas of fundraising and service provision for disadvantaged communities in Madagascar, with the charity Australian Doctors for Africa. She has been on 11 voluntary medical missions to Madagascar over the last 10 years providing surgical services to men in one of the most disadvantaged parts of the country and assisting with equipment needs and training opportunities for future urologists.
