Helping people shine

Every day real people come to us with real stories to share. People, just like you, from all walks of life, who may have experienced something unexpected, and as a result are dealing with things they did not expect. It’s an all too common occurrence yet it’s where the kindness of our community really shines. It’s the kindness of people like you, who reach into themselves and donate what they can truly make a difference to those who need it most.

With you, we’re stronger

Accordwest is a West Australian not-for-profit community services provider with a focus on real people, not shareholders. Our culturally responsive services are for everyone and anyone. We accept people for who they are, no judgements. By understanding people’s stories we’re able to work together toward the creation of a fulfilling future. It’s a future that starts now.

We greatly appreciate those individuals, businesses and community groups who already support us, and are grateful for new people looking to help. If you, your business or community group are in a position to help with either of our below initiatives, please contact us today.

Christmas Hamper Appeal

The Christmas Hamper appeal is an integral part of ensuring children and families who are doing it tough don’t miss out on enjoying the festive season. In December each year we distribute Christmas Food Hampers that include age and gender appropriate presents for children. Christmas wrapping paper and cards are included, so the parents can wrap and be involved in preparing their children’s gifts.

Accordwest has been appreciative of the support from local people and businesses who donate children’s gifts each year to this appeal. It brings joy to the faces of all involved, both to those giving the gifts and those receiving.
